About the project

OSMOSE is a not-for-profit NGO, established in 1999, which is implementing 3 different projects: the Ecotourism project, the Environmental Education project and the Local Development project. Through these projects OSMOSE would like to support the floating communities of Tonle Sap Lake and to protect the environment of the Toal Core area.

About the homestay

The Homestays of OSMOSE are part of the Local Development project. Currently there are 10 homestays in Prek Toal floating village where up to 40 visitors can be accommodated. During your stay you have the opportunity to discover the waterbird colonies and flooded forest, visit the traditional floating village by wooden canoe or do a trip to Seam Reap by boat. In any case you will experience the hospitality of the locals and make a social contribution.

I had an amazing experience here by staying at a homestay with socialbnb!

I love the idea of giving something back to the locals of the places I visit on vacation – especially in regions like Cambodia.
I really enjoyed staying in the NGO and learning about the projects of Osmose!
