Tabasamu is an organization founded in 2014 in Arusha Tanzania with the goal of helping and supporting children, especially those who have been neglected or maltreated, orphans and children from a poor family who lack the help from their parents or relatives. The main goals of Tabasamu orphanage Tanzania are to give children a chance in their community and build their bright future in order to reduce the existing gap between a rich child and poor child!

About the homestay
The Tabasamu Orphanage in Arusha offers you amazing insights into the Tanzanian culture and the work of the orphanage.
You can stay here and experience the day-to-day life of the organization. Tabasamu is located in a small town called Usa-River. Arusha Tanzania is located just 30- 45 minutes from Kilimanjaro airport. Tabasamu was founded by David Joseph Wella who is a Tanzanian teacher. For the last 4 years, Tabasamu has been hosting more than 300 guests from different corners of the world.
Nearby, there is a rehabilitation center with a restaurant, used mostly by visitors. The restaurant also has free WI-FI. Tabasamu also is only half an hour away from the Arusha national park. There, you have a great view of the Twin Mountains Kilimanjaro and Mt Meru. Furthermore, the location is less than ten minutes away from the following services: exchange office, supermarket, post office, local market, club, and nice restaurants.
